SUIT STYLING
Suits used to be the required uniform of the urban professional. It was strictly a nine to five look that one was required to wear. For many it was the style equivalent of a prison jumpsuit, not something you would put on willingly, or ever wear if you wanted to be seen as fashionable outside of the office. Thankfully, times have changed. The suit is now a staple on the runway every season. It’s being styled in a variety of different ways, which makes it fun, rather than a chore to wear. I’m a big fan, so I’m excited that the suit is sexy and glamorous again.
I discovered this great fitted black jacket at Topshop. Although I generally suggest investing in a wardrobe staple like a jacket, there are some fantastic affordable designs to be found at stores like Zara, H&M, Topshop and Forever 21.
