FEATHERED VEST
Vests are all the rage again this season. I already have quite a few “faux fur” versions in my wardrobe which I usually throw on with a pair of jeans and a sweater when I want to add a bit of a “wow factor” to a look and can’t be bothered getting creative. Trolling through the shops, I have been coming across vests in a wide variety of styles, colors and price points. This blue feather version is from Topshop, which is a UK label that has retail outlets scattered throughout the US and abroad. It caught my eye because it was a bit unusual. I think it’s great to incorporate a few unusual pieces into the wardrobe, because they differentiates us from everyone else.
Birds of a feather may flock together, but that doesn’t mean they all have to dress alike…and neither do we. If a slightly “off beat” piece attracts your attention, give it a try, it may surprise you and actually give your existing wardrobe a new and exciting edge.

That is also why I prefer shopping vintage. You can be assured no one else will have the same item.
