BIG BOLD SLEEVES

A man in blue shirt and hat standing next to table.

I am obsessed with dramatic sleeves. Batwing…Bella…Poofy. It really doesn’t matter, as long as they’re big and bold. I have actually been known to resort to extraordinary measures to get the puffiest sleeve possible by stuffing them with tissue paper to ensure that they don’t “deflate” during the day.  I cannot tell you how amusing it is to watch the looks of curious confusion come across people’s faces as I walk by making a very slight crinkling sound.

Obviously, extreme measures are not for everyone, which is why the “batwing sleeve” is a great style choice for those seeking to add a bit of drama to their look. I also love the fact that it’s a very forgiving cut for women who require a slightly more spacious sleeve. Did I mention that the bold sleeve is great for dancing? Well it is, so go find a great one and give it a twirl around the dance floor. Remember, fashion is meant to be fun.

Thanks Megan! Although as one of my followers very astutely observed, probably a fire hazard in the kitchen!

Oh yes I am with you, I live big sleeves, batwing sleeves, kimono sleeves. So I like your top. My kind of top, especially with these colours and that neckline. It suits you well (and it would suit me haha). When I came to the last picture and I saw the heel of your shoes, I went Aahhhh. Spectacular. You are so good with footwear.

Thanks so much, Greetja. I am completely obsessed with any sort of wide, dramatic sleeve. Now if I could just learn how to eat without dipping them into my food! Hahaha! xxx

These sleeves are fantastic! Do you make all the designs yourself? Got any designs you think could work with runners? http://www.boldsleeves.com
