THE ACE HOTEL
Nothing spells “cool” like red leather or the ACE HOTELÂ in Palm Springs. I went out there a while back for a wedding and decided to stay on for a few days to explore the magical desert oasis. Palm Springs has always held a special allure for me because of it’s history as the playground for old Hollywood power players. It still wears that history like a badge of honor. Everywhere you go, there is memorabilia that harks back to the golden era of Hollywood.
Situated amongst the palm trees and manicured lawns, The Ace Hotel is the new place to be, and be seen. Designed in a “too cool for school” style, this funky boutique hotel has a great retro style diner, kitsch pool toys and beautiful mid-century modern decor. Vespas line the driveway as you enter the building and beautiful people abound. I may not be their target market, but I couldn’t help get swept up in the coolness of it all. It’s a great place to sit back, sip a cocktail and watch the pretty young things enjoy being pretty. The feel good factor is contagious.
As luck would have it, I was wearing a rather edgy red leather ensemble for my Ace Hotel debut. If ever one is going to be a little over the top and rock n roll, this is the place to do it.

I love all of this red and it is al perfect together! Your nails and that clutch are amazing! I’ve never been to Palm Springs, but am currently in San Diego and I don’t want to leave!
