DRAMATIC KNITS

A woman sitting on top of a bench wearing sunglasses.

I’m addicted to light weight knits. They’re the perfect transitional pieces for Spring when the weather is often so fickle. This sweater is by Donna Karan. I was beside myself with excitement when I eyed it in the sales a few months ago. It’s one of my favorite pieces. I love the drama of the batwing sleeve and it’s sheer versatility. I’ve paired it with a tank top and long skirt, but it would work just as nicely over a strappy summer dress or worn with skinny jeans. This is the type of top I always take along with me when I travel, because I’m lazy, and these types of pieces require very little effort to look great. The style is also exceptionally forgiving when I want to indulge in an extra desert while on holiday. Any piece of clothing that is stylish and allows you to eat and be comfortable, is a keeper!

You would probably also like a Belgian brand called Sarah Pacini. They have lovely knits and they will last you for years.
Love this Donna top. I should start to invest in long skirts. You can wear low heels with them and still look elegant. What a combination.
