BLACK AND GOLD

A man in blue shirt and hat standing next to table.

Anyone who follows this blog, knows than I am quite a fan of basic black, which occasionally gets a little boring, so I try to be a bit bold in my choices. I think the trick to styling black well is focusing on the details. I look for pieces that have a beautiful, unusual cut and accessorize them with shoes and bags that add some dramatic flair. Sometimes the best thing you can do for an outfit is to let the accessories do the talking. Gold does that. When I saw these shoes, I thought, “Yes, they’re perfect. They have a little bit of glitz and a little bit of glam, and just a touch of Studio 54.” Sometimes all a basic look really needs is a sprinkling of disco.

The outfit is very chic and the shoes are amazing, beautiful and amazing. Do you actually walk on them? As that seems rather impossible to me. I am always in awe when a woman knows how to do that.

Thank you Greetj Yes, I do actually walk in them …but not too far. I
have been wearing very high heels all of my adult life and see no
reason to stop now. Since I am only 5’2″ my fashion choices usually
need a bit of a height boost. These heels are a bit higher than what I
    usually wear but surprisingly comfortable.
