The thing about prints is that you can wear them, but usually they wear you. I never really mastered the art of the print, but recently I decided to give them another try. I like the idea of wearing coordinating, yet contrasting colors and patterns, which is why I decided to pair my new black and white, DKNY patterned sweater with a pair of black and white tweed heels. Mixing patterns in the same color palette is the easiest way to create a modern look with pieces you already own. I’m not sure that these heels were made for a road trip, but I had a fun day wandering around imagining them touring the country in a renovated RV. First prints, next up….perhaps a road trip. As I turn 81, I definitely plan to keep mixing it up!

Subtle, fun, beautiful. Very well styled. And 81? My goodness, you look so much younger. This teaches me that I will probably not slow down in my quest of looking as good as I can… My bank manager was so hoping for this haha.
